The Citizens

Although there are hundreds of loosely joined independents around the world making up Citizen Agency, the citizens who represent the core of this consorgency are:

Citizen Joe

Hottie Chris Messina (aka Factory Joe) has spent many years as an Open Source Ambassador. From his work on the Spread Firefox campaign (he was the dude who designed the two page ad spread in the New York Times), to his work on Civic Space to holding the title of Open Source Ambassador at open source browser startup Flock, Citizen Joe dedicates his time and energy to making the world a better place through spreading open source and open source principles.

His own talents lie in being able to see the 'big picture' and he will help move your application, website or project into a meaningful direction. His vision, coupled with a background in design and a strong sense of user experience, make him an asset to any startup. Even moreover, his global connections within the technology community enhance any collaborative effort imaginable.

Citizen Rogue

Close in...the 'wonder' shot Tara Hunt (aka Miss Rogue) is a Pinko Marketer. This means that she believes in the long-term strength of building communities rather than the short term bursts of attention grabbing by throwing money at outbound messages. This also means that anything short of being part of the community you serve is not sufficient.

Tara was inspired early on by the Cluetrain Manifesto and has spent the past 7 years working with companies ranging from alcoholic beverages to technology to non-profits, mentoring and creating communities for their long term health. She is a Canadian, living and working in San Francisco.

As well as being a dynamic and energetic duo in business, Tara and Chris are also life partners and live with Tara's too-cool-for-school teenage son, Tad.
